Resolved Question: Is petite orchid bark okay for a substrate for a ball python?

I just got my first snake this week. I adopted him from a family that could no longer keep him. He is a ball python named Jake the Snake. I bought him a new terrarium and the girl at the pet store told me to use a substrate called Pacific Bedding Products made by Pacific Breeding out of Chino, CA. It says it is a "petite orchid bark". I've been looking at what substrates to use for a ball python and it seems that either coconut bark or cypress mulch are the way to go. I'll probably go with one of those next time I clean the cage.
